DSA personnel were involved in the original conversion of this submersible from a diver lock out oil field submersible into a four-passenger private observations submersible.
DSA personnel assisted with the design, modification, ABS approval, installation and testing of the electrical/electronic systems in this four passenger manned submersible, which is capable of diving to 1,000 feet (300m). Initially, the modified XPC15 was installed and operated aboard a 200-foot (60m) long luxury motor yacht ("Mystere"). DSA personnel also authored the maintenance and operating manuals for this submersible.
