In the spring of 1997 a member of DSA was hired as a consultant to Raycal Offshore to help support deepwater ROV operations during the "Hybernia Project". After a ten day tow the platform was finally anchored 200 miles east of St. John's Newfoundland. During the deployment two working class ROV Sea Lion was used. An expert in fabrication and rigging his skills were constantly utilized modifying and building special tools to support each mission. The Hybernia rig remains the largest production platform in operation in the world.
